Beginning: Web Development
Web , Technology, Design, HTML, CSS, JS, these are some of the things that i have been into from past couple of months and i think to start off with my first story of Medium, This topic is worth to give a go.
The experience that i have gained so far in this field is brilliant. From creating landing pages to designing websites and Mobile UI, it has been a tremendous learning curve. Starting off with HTML, the feeling you get when you see your “This is my first html website” on browser is priceless. I learned CSS and then things were starting to become more colorful. Designing the html content , without any doubt is one of the best part of web development. It is a fun part to do. Now once you have done the designing part, then comes a magical thing called as “Javascript” . This was a whole new feeling to see that now i can even hide the content, show the content, light a bulb, bring an image on a click, increase the size of a text on my command and stuff like that.
Other than this short experience, I would like to list some steps for beginners like me who are starting with Web Development :-
To start off:
- HTML
- CSS
Once you have done any course or you can say , you now know the basics , start copying other website designs and try to make it as similar as they look.
3. JAVASCRIPT
This is what you have to do once you are done and confident enough , that you can now build website designs.
4. Responsiveness
5. Media Queries
6. Frameworks like Bootstrap and React js
Once you are done with the three, now is the time you get to an advanced level and try to do the things on a higher level.
